Adults that stand RIGHT in front of the escalator that people not only use, but use CONTINUALLY, and they don't even move:snyx:
3 adults stood right in front of the escalator, and as we were walking closer, we saw that they didnt even look around to see that they were in the most inconvenient spot, they didnt even seem to care. we saw couple ppl try to go by, bumping them.
by the time, me and a friend had gotten there, they still had made no real attempt to get RIGHT OUTTA the FRICKIN WAY
so i yelled at them and said "geezus, NICE OF YOU TO FUCKIN MOVE YOU STUPID IDIOTS."
yup, well they moved...and i got a glare.

just like how they stand in the halls and gab at school, when it's like break and people are trying to get to their next class but they can't cuz ms. popular has to talk about her new flea collar right in the middle of the hall...

thats just like the big groups of kids who come in to HMV and stand over a post and all try to listen to the same cd at once...my first question is WTF are they dong at the mall at like 10:30 am on a monday..and why TF cant they move thier sorry asses cause i know there not going to buy anything.

in the future, instead of yelling at them you could try these little words, "exscuse me please". you'd be surprised at how well they work. actually, you don't even have to say please, just "exscuse me" would work just nicely.
they might have been totally wrapped up in a converstaion and not even noticed that they were inconveniencing other people, you never know.

yes.. excuse me sometimes works.. but once in a while you get total fucktards who won't even move even whenyou say excuse me please! they just give you looks anywayz.. and then after saying it a few times and they don't move and you kinda push your way past them they get even more pissed like da fuck.. i said excuse me!

I have to agree with Bob-teenagers DO do the same thing & inconsiderate people come in all shapes and sizes! Best words of advice...instead of approaching a situation like that with a bad attitude...try being polite about it...probably would've worked a lot better...I dunno just my two cents!

Adults are "supposed" to be "role models" or whatever, but they do what teenagers do too.

so if an adult stands in the way of people on the escalator and don't notice that people are trying to get by because they aren't saying anything, they are being bad role models?

if you just would've approached them and said "excuse me" i think they would've gotten out of the way.
