To the PUNK on the bus . . .
Ok, so I was out last night, and had drank ALOT. What can i say free booze from 8 to 10. So i couldn’t really say no to it. Anyways i got home at 3 30 and i had to wake up at 6 30 to get to school. I wake up DRUNK and i decided to sky train to school so i can get some sleep. I get to commercial and hop on the 99 B line. Happy to have gotten a seat, i sit my ass down, listening to some funky house from soulgood. Now my music isn’t blasting because i can still hear the engine running clearly and i can hear the bus driver telling people to move further back.
Well this dude, possibly around my age comes and sits beside me, and as soon as he sits down, he taps me on the shoulder. I look at him and take my earphone off, and he rudely asks me to turn the music lower. I told him i was alright and put my earphone back on. He taps on my shoulder again and mumbles something and i told him i was alright and again put my earphones back on. So this DUMB FUCK has the nerve to tap on my shoulder for the third time and this time he says " I ASKED YOU TO TURN IT DOWN." At this point I’m am pretty annoyed with this guy. So i told him that i was alright, which meant I’m not going to turn the music down. He then proceeds on telling me he is not alright. So i told him to go move his punk ass somewhere else. Its funny because at this point everyone on the bus was looking at this kid. So i told him if he isn’t alright he should move his punk ass, i put my headphones back on and blasted the song. Anyways . . . that just ruined my day. I mean who the fuck are you to tell me to turn down my music. I would understand if i was listening to some heavy dnb or some metal blasting full force next to an older person. But as a younger person, in tuned with music, i would never say anything to anyone especially on the bus. What pissed me off the most was that this guy had headphones too. If he didn’t like what i was listening to, he could have easily turned up his shit a lil higher. GRRRRRRRRRR!! LIL FUCKER!! So now, my question is this . . . how would you feel? Was i out of line? Isn’t there an unwritten rule to this? Like when you have headphones, you don’t want to be bothered. On the bus, walking down the street and especially in a store . . . you know what i mean. Any thoughts?? |

hahahaha..
i think you had the right to do that. i mean...come on...itz a public transit skytrain. he chose to sit there, so he has to deal with it. you had the respect to turn it down the first two times, but the third time is just pushin it. |

Haha...what a guy. I'm surprised you didn't flip out on him in front of all those people! Was he a big guy? Cuz you're pretty big, and I would never have the nerve to step up to someone like you.
Sometimes I contemplate telling the people who are listening to music so loudly on their headphones that I can hear it that they are permanently damaging their eardrums. But it's never bothered me listening to it...because, really, headphones can't really get THAT loud! *Jen* |

naaa he was just some punk kid . . . i didnt really to flip out on the guy, he totaly wasnt expecting the answer he got from me. I think he was one of those kids who attends "bully seminars" and he was trying to be a hero early in the morning. I mean EVERYONE on that bus goes to UBC, cuz it doesnt stop anywhere else. I didnt need to flip out on him or make him feel like shit, he did the job for me. Like what are you gonna do? You cant make someone turn their music down. Even if a few more people tried to be heros and complained, i still wouldnt turn it down. So i guess they all look like ass. On another note, this is the first time you actually ecouraged me to flip out. hehehehehehehehe Next time i will. Just for you. Hey wanna come out saturday night? Like for real this time LOL. |
