calls and startles you right when you have begun to fall into a nice sleep. of all nights to call it had to be on the one night that I forgot to turn off my ringer. now I can't get back to sleep and when I finally do, it won't be nearly as good of a sleep as it would have been had I not recieved that phone call. :( BOOURNS! well at least I know what to tell santa I want for christmas hehe... a proper alarm clock so I can turn my phone off completely at night time!

It's even worse (no, inevitable) when you're having a /good dream/.
I bet your subconcious remembers EVERYTHING over the past while and thinks to itself: "Oh, so you left your pager/phone/beepy thing on, eh? Well I bet someone's going to call/it's going to make noises, so I'm going to make up a really nice dream, and then BAM, a noise will wake you up. And no, I'm not ever going to give you that dream again!" |

haha this happens to me almost every weekend!
I normally don't care that much if I don't have to work the next day.. but yeah when the phone is ringing at first you're always really startled and don't even know what the fuck is happening. |

You hear stories like that all the time, but I find it hard to believe they wouldn't connect the problems to a cable that's no longer connected (per the stories.) |
