^^ very true. she is weak. kindof just wants us all to forget anything happend and continue being happy happy happy workers. the situation stands idle, and it's just making it boil up to something worse. like me having to leave today.

Call the police and have her arrested. She can't very well work if she's arrested, now can she?
Call HER supervisor or the owner of the restaurant. Tell them EVERYTHING. Make your manager look like a fucking tool for being manipulated so easily.

No. Seriously. How hard is it to spend 5 minutes reading a thread before jumping in like a superstar with stuff that's already been covered? Seems to happen on all forums though. They see the first post and get exicted, and hit reply right away. Regular readers of SA will see it in almost every thread.

There'll always be something the OP can't consider that gets answered in the thread, like that. So even if they spent an hour taking every possibility into consideration, someone will come up with something new. And at that point the post would take longer to read than this entire thread. :)
But if you're at work, shouldn't you be working? On a break? Skim over the posts.

My goodness Chrissy that sucks a million!!! Im curiouse what the rest of your co-workers think? You guys should do somthing such as all threaten too quite because your all looseing money.
I think the only conditions that girl woudl be aloud to stay is if she pays you all back the money she took! Give's and apoligy and never does it again. And yes... I think this goes past your manager. Your manager should of delt with the police if its been suspected of happening for so long. If your manager cant take that responsibility then you probly should report it. Cus this girl has taken your money! Chrissy DRINKS TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quit your job, and make sure to bitch them out on your way out the door!.. I'm sure any number of restaurants or cafeterias would be thrilled to have an employee such as yourself. Alternately (or perhaps just additionally!) you could booby trap the tip jar! Do they still sell old fashioned mouse traps these days?? :D

it doesn't matter if the cops don't do a thing, by bringing them you can hassle your manager.
seeing how you've been jacked again and again, ya mine as well fuck'm up. call the cops about an hour or so before it gets busy, hopefully they'll arrive just in time. when they show up, say nice and loudly that "this girl is stealing and i want to press charges, because my manager will not solve this problem. we've also caught her stealing." see if you can get a fellow employee to back you up. see where that gets ya. ps: you work in restaurant/food service, there are a million better jobs than the one you currently have.

God!! The support!! You guys are making me realise I made the right decision. Thanks so much. :)
To clear up the confusion, the manager lady is the owner of the restaurant. She speaks for everything that happens in there, so it seems I really have no hope of ever getting through to her. She's hurting herself and her own business by not taking any action. Bleh!! Going out drinking. Nuff said.
