I do really, really embarassing things ALL THE TIME.

But I find them funny, I have the rare ability to laugh at myself, pretty much no matter what. When you're totally clumsy and silly like me, you can't really get embarassed easily, or else you wouldn't want to leave the house for fear of goofing up!

and yeah, i embarass myself all the time. i usually try to laugh it off too. it makes me feel better. but then it kind of depends on what i did. sometimes i just avoid the people that saw it for a while. :)

YES i have on many occasions.
i hope yours manages to leave your conscious memory in time. personally i still get embarrassed over things i did 18 or more years ago; it is so counterproductive.

it's worth remembering that NO ONE ever notices moments like that as much as you do yourself. and once everyone else has forgotten, why let it ruin your day?

Well my dear it really would depend on how silly the embarassing mistake was. You're a smart girl so I know it's not something that you would totally regret but most the time I just laugh and say man was I ever drunk! Then change the subject very very quickly. lol

In one of my Allstar games for Ringette: after tryouts for months and months... trying for years to get picked for this....finally making the team... it was my first big game out in Edmonton, there was a huge crowd, cow-bells ringing, my whole extended family was there, scouts everywhere... the music starts playing, telling us it's time to get out on the ice for us to do our warm-up laps.... all gear'd up, the team gets out on the ice...

Chrissy follows her team out onto the ice.... i get 1 step onto the ice and *BAM*. I fell ass-over-tea-kettle infront of EVERYONE. I heard nothing but laughter from all around the arena.

It seems Missy Chrissy forgot to take off her skateguards.

once i was at a bible/cowboy camp and we had this rodeo at the end of the excursion. my horse wouldn't do what i was telling it to do in front of hundreds of people. lol i rode around in circles when i was supposed to be lassooing stuff.

laughing it off or the ppl who saw it usually works best..

I looked at pictures of when I was a awkward, gangly pre-teen. Ugh. That's embarassing enough and the pictures prove it...and will stay with me for the rest of my life...reminding me...and giving me nightmares. AHHH.

I couldn't have said it better myself. That is *SO* me! I do and say dumb things all the time, but I can laugh at it. At least I'm not still with a certain ex who used to totally make fun of me in hurtful ways when I did/said embarassing things and then bring them up again and again to make me feel even dumber. ARGH. Now if I do dumb things I dont care bc everyone does dumb things once in a while. And usually u get a good laugh out of it :) It makes life interesting!

I have embarrasing moments all the time...
Fortunetly alcohol has this thing of blacking out those key moments -- sweet, sweet alcohol!
