nero is drag and drop, just create a data cd and drag and drop the files you want to burn, and voila.

Here's a big load of legal & free tuneage, many genres, some good stuff & some known names too. Not superhigh MP3 bitrates but well-encoded 128 to 192kbps.

The real domain is http://www.slsknet.com/ but it's usually best just to pick whatever's at the top of the Google Search to ensure you get the right guys. *NIX (Linux, OSX, *BSD) version. Soulseek probably has the best music on it of any filesharing source, and it ain't spyware. For movies and tv shows, torrent sites. I like myspleen and suprnova. |

Limewire, last I checked, was pretty much adware free.
Use emule over edonkey though, if choosing between. Limewire or the plain gnutella client. But they are gnutella. Which is getting a bit old now. Avoid bear share and similar ones. For BitTorrent, Azureus is in the top 3 or even 2. |

if they aren't playing, either you've fucked them up some other random way, or you're burning data discs [also known as MP3 cds]. this way you can fit quite a few songs on there, but you need an MP3CD player. which you obviously don't have. which is why you have to burn the cd's as AUDIO cds. any program (even the built in windows xp burner) like nero, will let you drag and drop MP3's and then it will convert them to the appropriate format FOR YOU. so yes, you still want mp3's. you just need to right program before anyone can really help and give you step by step instructions on what to do. |

if you're sure you're making an "audio" cd and not a "data" cd then the problem might be your cd player or your cd's. sometimes certain cd players dont recognize certain cd's so try using a different brand of cd's. also, try using your currently burnt cd that doesnt work in another machine and see if it works.
