Icbc
well.... the autoplan broker didn't update my account and address change properly and the money was trying to be drawn out of the wrong account... and they were sending the warnings to the wrong adress....
and now my car is stolen and icbc says that they cancelled my insurance when i didn't make my payments.... so that basically i don't get anything for my car... well there goes 13-15 grand.... yay. anything i can do ? im possitive the autobroker will remember me coming in and changing my info... but can i even use that for anything? will icbc even care if that guy fucked up? |

on top of that the Rep was being cocky to me....
he was telling me... "it's your own fault... you shouldnt be mad" and i'm like dont be mad... dont tell me not to be fucking mad... my cars stolen and you're telling me im not covered!? and he kept saying stupid shit like ICBC isnt a daycare... and that im lying about changing my info... and then when i told him to stop being so fucking cocky and being a window warrior he said "come down and say that to my face" lol... hardcore.... and when i asked to speak to a supervisor he hung up on me. |

aaah, ICBC, the grand monopoly of british columbia.
I fucking hate them, I'd take it to corporate, because that's bullshit. All I can say is good luck. I was in a single-vehicle accident when the axel of my front-wheel steering column broke while I was going around a corner, and ICBC couldent find anything wrong with it, so I was at fault. I broke my back in that accident, and I have to suffer with the pain the rest of my life because of faulty workmanship on the car which I cant proove (the front was smashed right in, hard to spot.) The ICBC mechanic said - no problem. A real mechanic said - the axel broke. It's quite destinct if you look at the pictures. I also got a speeding ticket and a failure to keep right while I was lying on the ground waiting for the ambulance. (with a broken leg and back) YAY POLICE! Serve and protect! |

i got in an accident a long time ago.. and the officer wrote me tickets for running the red light and causing the accident when he wasnt even there... because of the witness (the passenger of the other vehicle involved in the accident) ... before i even made it to the podium the officer said "dropping ticket due to lack of evidence"
fucking idiots |

I don't know the story, but to just tell you your lying, and to be that unprofessional for a large company seems like bull shit. but maybe my standards for service are too high. |

Yeah no doubt...
and when i asked to speak to the supervisor he hung up on me... and i had to call back and when i got a hold of the supervisor.. he was JUST as rude to me... he like cut me off halfway through my sentance and was like. well thats your problem... you should have payed.... i was like I CHANGED MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!! hes like... your lying... so until you prove it we have nothing to talk about... find some proof...fax it to us... and uhh... we'll take a look at it sometime.. im fucking outraged... this is complete bullshit |
|
|||
the thing is, im almost certain that the sales rep will remember me coming in to change that account.. cause we were joking around a lot and hes been my rep a while ago when i transferred insurance and shit...
so if i can get that guy to vouch that he did change it... think it will change the outlook?? i dont see how they could just cancell my insurance without having me sign anything or anything like that... what if i was to get in an accident!?! |

hrmmm my lawyer was looking over the contract you sign when you take out an autoplan loan....
and.... ICBC does not finance you.. when you take out an autoplan monthly payment.. TD BANK completely pays ICBC and when u pay monthly payments your paying to td bank basically... so there is no reason for them to cancell my coverage... not only that.. why would they only take away half of my coverage instead of all of it? nowhere in the contract does it say that they can modify coverage or cancell coverage if you do not pay unless a balif comes to your house and takes the plates off infront of you and has you sign forms saying you understand that you arnt insured anymore i've been told icbc is just bullying me because they know i havn't had a car stolen before and they want to see if they can avoid paying i fucking hate those mother fuckers |
