Hi, Fuck You Grandpa
So I'm on the bus - the 98 B-Line to be precise - and I'm 2 stops away from my house. It's a busy ride, no seats available, but I'm in one of them. A older man gets on the bus, pretty fat bastard too, greying, with a hint of victim complex in his eyes.
So I get up and offer my seat - as any respectful young man does for his elders - and the guy has a shit-fit on my face about how I'm making assumptions about his age and health, how the spot could be used for someone who's really in need (he was the only one standing) and I should just mind my own fucking business and keep to myself. I told him he was "a senile cunt and his mother failed in raising him properly" but if I had any balls I would have kicked his kneecap clear off his leg - that would give him a reason to wanna sit. I want to know what you'd all have done. |

i hear you man, more and more it seems to NOT PAY to be nice to people.. they jus FREAK out on you.. *rolls eyes*
BASTARDS for example, i was in a car with 5 ppl, some kids we KNEW but weren't really friends with, were driving to van with us, and they had 3 ppl. at the last stop before the broder, i was like well, i will be NICEY NICE and get outta shot gun in the car with MY friends, so that my friends can have a lil more room. BAD EFFING IDEA. got in the other car and realized they were complete fucking hick morons. *shakes head* it just doesnt help being nice sometimes, other people are still jackasses. but hey, you gotta jus keep on keepin on with the nicey nice for when u do find the chill kidz. *hugs* better luck next time. <3 |

i'd be all 'excuse me?!' 'you're in denial fatty'
...but i probably wouldn't be in that position cause i always sit in the back half of the bus where the old people hardly venture too. plus i'm lazy and inconsiderate and rarely give up my seat unless i really, really should. i take the 98 as well. |

To avoid these kinds of situations, I take the position of "Nothing from the front door to the first exit acctually exists" in choosing my seat. It's as far to the middle or middle back as I can go. People always crowd the front anyway.
As far as I see it, if I get into a position where I can aviod having to disturb my ride by being polite in the first place and not taking the easy access seats at the front, my rides are usually quite uneventful (with some colourful exceptions). |

i have had the same sorta deal happen to me also, but generally elderly people are greatful and nice when you help them out or show them respect. just because one person is an ass doesnt mean they all are. and it feels so good to help someone out and have them be apreciative

1. shrug my shoulders and apologized while resuming my sitting position. 2. spat in his face. while he's busy wiping my salivia out of his eyes i'd cheap shot him one in the adams apple. after he collapses i'd raise my fisted arms in way of victory and yelled "point one for generation x!" |

I would have...oh waaaaaaait! I don't take the bus! And now I remember WHY!
heh, but in all seriousness, I would probably have said something along the lines of "Sorry for trying to be polite, I guess common courtesy isn't appreciated anymore...............bitch." |
