I just tried to get U2 tix. I was on the ticketmaster site at like 9:00 and was ON IT when they went on sale @ 9:30.

I tried to buy tix and they are like this one is sold out BUT there is a new show added. I'm like whoa that was fast but hey there is another show.

I go and try to buy tix for the 2nd show and them shits is sold out too!!!!!

like how the fuck are supposed to get tix if you can't get em by sitting and waiting for the second they go on sale. TWICE!!!!!!!!

i don't think they're sold out yet, though, they might be just releasing them in limited quantities because i was on the phone with my friend and while my searches (for a single ticket, any price, any section) came up with nothing she managed to get a general admission ticket while we were both searching. i'm gonna keep trying but yeeeeeah, this is very frustrating.

a lot of tickets get sold in the presales, and they're usually the best.

Yeah I dunno, not concerned about U2 at all right now. I was sayin to someone that my max price for a ticket to a U2 concert would be about $30 bucks. I base this on the pros of:

- their huge back catalouge of good material to choose from
- their raw musical talent

and the cons of:

- the mostly shitty music they've been putting out for the last 7-8 years
- the fact they're old and losing their edge, pardon the pun. Not convinced a U2 show right now is anywhere near as decent as one 10 years ago.

So I guess you couldn't call me a rabid fan!

my sister in laws brother joined the u2 fan club as well..and for $40 you automatically got to by 2 presale tickets.

this is the time to enter every single radio contest you can find. and pray to god you win.
or save your pennies and go see a scalper.
