I think it would be cool if pics were more artsy... some cool photoshop effects would be cool... or some artistic concepts... even if it was the dj in a robot suit giving you the finger with a nuclear missile... or maybe some cool drawing, like an alex grey painting...OR... they could make different facial expressions... and not look out in the distance...

I remember looking on Loopus and Fabula's site (producers, not djs, but same idea) and they had these really funny dogs all dressed up in their pics... laughed my ass off...

well if they want to have their picture on their flyer .. then it's up to them . I would rather have my face on my flyer rather then a dressed up dog

if I painted, then maybe one of my painting would be photographed and used as a flyer, but no one would know it's my painting, so it wouldn't have the same effect

With the bigger named DJ's, it is written specifically in the contract of how the DJ's name must appear on the flyer, the bio, the affiliations/logos that must be there and a small selection of pictures that you must only choose from.

They don't really give you a lot of choice in the matter usually!

yeh its brutal, and if for SOME reason the headliner is not satisfied with the writeup (Incase the promoter reworded stuff) then the dj has the right to say NO to playing.
Its a fucking trap.
