lose the attitude BITCH
minding my own business (literally) at work today and in comes this pair of kinda hippie looking girls. I was busy doing some clean up when they came in and was just about to finish up what i was doing & help them out when one of them barks out 'CAN I HAVE SOME SERVICE' so right away i can tell she has a chip on her shoulder. So i politely ask what can i do for them, and it turns out they're after Shambhala tickets.
Before i've even got a chance to get the tickets out, this bitch launches into a tirade about how she's not very happy with us and how she thinks we run a horrible business. She's upset because apparently we've 'jacked up' the ticket price from what it was 2 days ago (tickets have been $115 since January). I assure her that it's not the case, but she insists that she was quoted a different price on Tuesday. I tell her sorry, even knowing that i was the only one in that day and there's no way i'd have quoted the wrong price. So she keeps going on & on about this shit, how she's been trying to call since 9 am (we open at 11) and there's been no answer (thank you PVD ticket seekers, i'll start another thread for you people), and she won't let up on telling me what a horrible business i run although she's obviously never set foot in the place before. Finally i can take no more so i'm like 'look, do you want the ticket or not, because we're the only place in town that sells them and i'm not going to stand here & listen to your insults much longer'. So she forks over the cash and i pass her the tickets. THEN, she's back into the tirade!! 'All you record store people just think you're superstars!' being the gist of her commentary. So i tell her to go get fucked and she leaves in a huff. Not really a big deal, but in hindsight i'm really wishing i'd refused her the tickets. I can't stand people like this, who think they have the right to make a royal stink if the whole world doesn't bend to their whimsey. Despite her hippie flower-power stylings, this is certainly not the kind of metality we need at a place like Shambhala! |

thast harsh :( too bad you sold her the tickets, i wouldnt want anyone like that there either...
i had a similar situation the other day at work, this woman came in a few weeks to buy a tanning lotion (with a bronzer in it), so i sold her one with a bronzer in it....so anyway, so comes back last friday and starts going off about how this cream had a self tanner in it and how she felt ripped off, then she started bitching at my cuz she had to wait a whole 2 min to go into a taning bed...(it was really really busy that day), so anyway, i clean her bed and send her in, set the time, but i didnt hold the start button long enough so the timer didnt start. a few min later she comes out yelling and swearing at me, making a huge scene in front of about 7 other people waiting. sayign that i was a bad worker and that i didnt have any costomer service and she was gonna get my fired and shit..:( it was not a good day... so anyway, i feel your pain, and people like that are so hard to deal with |

people like that piss me off. they have a problem and decide to blow off at someone who has nothing to do with it. i'm a really layed-back, high tolerance people person but i believe in treat others the way you wanna be treated. she shouldn't have done that.

but wow what a bitch. she probably though she would get a discount or even a free ticket by being one. It works at restaurants but not many other places. |

I don't think that she had a chip on her shoulder...I think it was more that she was probably annoyed at the lack of prompt customer service. She probably didn't need to go off on you, but you definitely should have dropped what you were doing to help her, and you should never, ever under any circumstance curse at a customer!
