Do a little research, go to the library.......Skull and Bones was Founded in Germany in 1832, theres plenty of books readen about it from people who have studyed it for many years. But of course Bush couldnt be in such a secret society.................oh but wait a second,

Watch the video as Bush is so stupid he admits to being a member of Skull and Bones, or as many call it, the order of death

"""Its so secret I cant talk about it"""

Going to school for an advanced degree is pretty much useless these days.

Under the Pan-American Union, and greater liberalization of the markets (this is not freemarket as they claim) more engineers, doctors, etc. coming from India and China who are willing to work for half the pay and recent home grown graduates will be training their foreign replacements :)

It's been admitted that the layoffs can be up to SEVEN TIMES greater than the dotcom boom in the technology sector. Good bye middle class.

I don't know why you always suck me into this...
All doctors in this province make the same wage for the same services. Under MSP they have to charge the same fee for service.

AND canadian universities charge international students a fucktonne more than they charge citizens. For example, international pharmacy students at ubc have to pay something rediculus like 30,000 to take the program.

And what about all the ESL students that come to our public schools to study and learn english? They pay you know. It's how the broke school boards make extra money.

Having educated immigrants come to canada doesn't mean a reduction in pay for the people who live here already. A lot of the poor chinese people who came here in the 1900s proved that. It raises the bar for everyone and creates a better middle-class, actually.

I think you just live in fear of actually having to work hard. God forbid we let people immigrate here who are willing to work harder than your lazy ass. There's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition.
=)

face it the world isn't perfect. equality ain't gonna happen, people are always chasing their self interests. if anything, i think this capitalist model we live in has given a more balanced share of equal power and rights to everyone. the sad fact is that the smart concious people will prevail and give their kids the open door into their world, while the stupid people will bitch about the upper classes treating them like slaves. as far as i'm concerned your bitching about this inevitable demise and destruction of our society is all talk. why don't you fucking do something about it then? maybe goto a respected university where your voice will be heard and taken seriously, backed up with straight facts (which is readily available to everyone anyways) and respectable sources by renouwned researchers and philosophers on the topic.

till then shut the fucking hell up.

The Secret Societies I talk of do exist but I have begun to be so frustrated with people who just don't listen. Maybe I will do what Wum has done, hes just shut up about the topic.
yeha but they dont all own the media and the education system. Government and buisness is not as closely aligned as you think, and buisnesses who own the media are ultimately buisnesses. their imperative is to make money, not brainwash people and take over the world, if a private media station is supporting different political ideologies its because those ideologies sell to their target audience not because Ted turner or Rupert Murdock are in cahoots with bush and the house of fahd to take over the world.

and what makes you think your information outlets are any better?

yeah i smoke weed what the fuck does that have to do with anything? i smoke it so i can chill out after a long day of sober work. i'm also concious that i've got mania problems and when i'm too sober i end up preaching about ridiculous school shit 24/7. there is always a time and place for talking about crazy political/economical/social issues but my buddy feels the need to talk about this shit all the time, obviously to prove that hes not the dumbass we all joke about time to time. it's not cool.

dj franco yes just shut up about it like wum has decided to do. It's already come to a point where it's all jokes. omg the pharmaceutical industry has been planning on making all our children crazy all these years!! haha can't forget the classic SUSPECTED CANNIBALISTIC ACTIVITY OF UN SOLDIERS IN AFRICA!!!!!!

i think being concious of what goes on behind the scenes is very important but i'd rather learn how to make it better rather than sit in my computer all day reading bitter conpiracy theory websites. fuckin poli sci nerds....
its nto even poli sci its garbage.

mother fuckers like habermas, nancy fraser and shit are poli sci and they dont go on wild tangents making dubious claims regarding secret societies which are in relaity more like fraternities for old men to network.

how can you make these claims when you dont even understand anything about economics?

or how markets work in theory and how they work in reality.

you also dont understand that their are significant barriers for allowing that to happen, the professions you named and most in general(such as lawyers, engineers, docotrs, pharmacists even accountants and investment advisors) have their own self regulating body which prevent competition from lower paid and non-qualified individuals and even qualified immigrants typically face significant barriers in registering with SRO's in order to pratice their trade in canada, thats why alot of indian doctors and engineers are driving cabs or selling tvs at future shop.

more importantly you fail to recognize that unlike the european union, the nafta and cafta agreements have no provisions for labour mobility. They focus entirely on trade and capital mobility, there will be no vast diaspora.

p.s getting advanced degrees is the best way to avoid facing the risk of having your job outsourced. lthe structural changes to our economy as a result of globalization and changes in tehcnology place a premium on skilled labour. its unskilled labour/idiots with only highschool degrees that will get fucked the most when their unionized manufacturing jobs evaporate.

well, admittedly I'm using the US as an example, who have gone wholesale overboard. But at the same time I'm anticipating the whole "Pan American Union" that is just on the horizon.

You say that NAFTA has no provisions on mobility, and in the next sentence you say because of this there will be no vast diaspora? And I'm sure the fact that there are more than 30 million illegal aliens in the US, mainly from NAFTA partner Mexico, is just a coincidence

actually trades seem to be on the up and up.

There's a region in India euphamistically called "The Factory" that churns out 2 million engineers a year, and IT jobs are being outsourced like a motherfucker.

big ups to your friend for getting his act together..

ofcourse it isn't cool to be a geek but fuck, I'd choose geek over pot-head any day ;)

Oh.. and it sucks that your friend totally rubbed it in your face and put down your faculty.. I know how it is as my sister graduated from sauder school of business and she would often put down the fact that I was in Arts and that the only thing an arts degree can do for you is help you be a teacher....but from my perspective, I myself can't help but feel that my sister is likely making more money right now than I ever will if I complete my sociology degree. Education certainly isn't the only thing that matters.. but I think that her experiences at UBC really did help her in a large way, as she did not get her current job via parental networking.

So I really don't know what to say :P other than the faculty of arts is sounding more and more unappealing to me.

This addresses the lowering of wages, and the racketeering between government and business :)
Quote:
In the past ten years, American jobs screamed out of the United States at an accelerating rate of speed. While American workers stood in unemployment lines, major corporations insourced, outsourced and offshored jobs to Third World countries. Why? They could obtain labor for $1.00 an hour and sometimes less. Capitalism knows no loyalty to man, beast or country.

[...]

To add insult to injury while displacing American workers--meatpacking, chicken processing, paving, construction, hotel, roofing, landscaping and other trade jobs were insourced to millions of illegal alien workers.

[...]

America’s manufacturing base and ability to sell products to the world diminished with the rising power of corporations to control taxes, tariffs and commodities markets. These huge corporations, run by American CEO’s, took advantage of their American roots and benefits enjoyed in a First World country—while giving millions of jobs to people in other countries.

wum, you've been proven wrong by someone in the medical field and by someone finishing up their commerce degree.

I think it's time to stop posting in this thread.

both know more than you, the only thing you're doing here is reiterating that you don't have a clue about what you're talking about.

i'm pretty confident that when i complete the route i wanna take (either a double major in biopsyc and linguistics or just a minor in linguistics then get an audiology degree) i'll be able to get a job and make good money. i thought about what i wanted to do and how the degree with help me fulfill my not only financial needs but my need to do something that matters. i was really pissed off when he said that because he's always been a naive idiot and he's notorious for saying outrageous things. i wasn't the only one he offended that night, i was the first one who stopped him and told him he was outta line, and everyone else agreed how naive he was. then he started his little rant at me bascially because "i always have to have an opinion on everything" and "i never let him finish what he was saying". we resolved that issue there saying it was a misunderstanding and that he worded his statement about the liberal arts students in the wrong way." and he eventually apologized about his rant at me explaining that hes always like that when he's drunk. but even now he can't lay back and talk about something in a relaxing tone. he always has to be this fast car moving at 240km/h completely outta control.

i had a talk with a mutual friend about him (who was also there with me that night and another liberal arts/business student at sfu) and he agreed that something needed to be done with my crazy buddy. i don't really think bringing it up now will solve anything. but i wanna help him. it is possible to get A's and smoke weed in university. hahaha and there are good times to be had. i hope he figures out his system, gets some confidence and has less worries about doing well in school so he can go back to partying hard with us when we need it.

the days are stressful enough already... why always be stressed?

Count how many times Franco has given us "Open your eyes and pay attention to the world" rhetoric
versus
How many times he's given us verifiable facts corroborated from different sources that weren't notorious online conspiracy theorists.

SOURCES YOU DUMBASS! It's called "corroboration". If you don't know what the fuck that means you have no business preaching the injustices of our times.

If u dont notice tho, everything on Infowars he writes an artice and at the top puts the link from Mainstream news that he got it from. In this case the link is there, its from CNN but for some reason the article has been taken off. But 99% of the time its from a reliable source such as BBC

It's still just one source.

CORROBORATE. That means having MANY sources backing up all your information.

Rather than linking to the infowars articles, why don't you just link to the mainstream news sources if they prove this guy's theories?

Have you ever even written a post-secondary research essay?
