*growlZ* ..taxi driver.. *grrrrr*
Ok... last weekend a taxi driver REFUSED to give me a ride, for no apparent reason... TWICE!!!!.. AFTER he said he would indeed give me a ride! *mutters curses under her breath*
My journey of getting home after john's house party *ranting*: I left his house early (11 pm-ish) cuz I wanted to catch my last bus, wuzn't sure what time the last one left.. and I had to get to Coq all the way from NVan... So Mikey n John dropped me off at the sea bus... and the next one didn't come fer another 30min... (that 30min seemed to take forever!).. then finally it came, and I got over to the other side... then I got lost tryin to find the skytrain enterance *stupid me*.. then I skytrain-ed to the very last stn, and when I caught my 1st bus to Coq stn it was 12:30ish and I realised I missed my last bus home... which was ok, cuz I could jus take a taxi.... I was glad to see there was a taxi waiting when I got to coq and I walked over to him and told him where I wanted to go... he seemed a lil uneasy and said the meeter's been running fer a while... ? so I asked how much it would be.. never got an answer so I'm like whatever, I jus wanna get home cuz it wuz freakin cold and snowing hard.. and he said he'd gimme a ride.... So I got in his car and this azn lady ran over to the cab saying she needed to get to Johnson st. and he told me to get outta the car!.. I argued sayin I got there first but he insisted, he was "going in her direction anyways".. *bullshit*... So I told him to at least call another cab fer me (I only had a $20, no change, and didn't know the taxi # to call a payphone).... While I wuz waiting... in the freezing cold... (I knew I shoulda brought a jacket!).. this guy came over and asked what the taxi guy said.. and he couldn't believe it either... 45 min later... a taxi came.... I ran over, and guess who wuz the driver?... yea, that's right, the same asshole frum b4... When I got in the car he wuz talking sum gibberish I couldn't understand cuz of his heavy accent, and I finally realised he was telling me he couldn’t give me a ride!.. At that point I was really fed up, I only live about a 5 min drive frum the stn and it wouldn’t kill him to take 5 minutes outta his time... but nooo.... and then he started driving off with my bag in his car so I had to chase him down!... soooo... I figured I wouldn't have the patience to wait fer another taxi.. and chances are it would be him again and he'd refuse fer a third time!... so I decided to walk home (I know, stupid and unsafe, but I wuz upset~ pms? yes.. so whateva~)... But luckily there still are some thoughtful ppl around, they’re rare, but they do exist!.. once I started walkin down the hwy a bus that wuzn't in service gamme a ride halfway~ I got home around 2:30.... 2 1/2 hours later than my "curfew" (I wuz at a "study session".. had to be home by then)... so I got shit for being late after havin a shitty time of tryin to get home...... and that was my night! hell!!! MORAL OF THE STORY: -coq taxi drivers are jerks! -bry needs to get herself a car! -no more morals, only delicacies... fried rice anyone?? ~breezy Last edited by Breezy; Jan 31, 02 at 04:17 PM.

it took you that long to get home from johns? ouch!
at least you got home tho.. eventually! suck.. taxi drivers and fuckers! i don't like em man.. i've never had a good one.. last time i was in a taxi and his brakes weren't working properly.. i was NOT impressed! baaaah.. sucks it took you so long to get home man! damned snow..

odd how the bus driver refused to give you a ride TWICE
and then the taxi driver refused to give you a ride TWICE coincidence? you decide. shitty story though. last night i was peeing beside a skunk, i thought i'd be sprayed for sure.

In ANY situation like this, you should never hesitate to call either the company or the police (they have a special taxi complaints division)..
this is completely unethical and this guy deserves to lose his job. The number of the taxi is found throughout the outside and inside of the car. better luck next time. m
