What the hell?
The ONE party I go to every year and only the second Sunday I've booked off in 7 months and nooooooo I can't have the day off even though no one else booked it off!

Yeah i am really choked at my boss right now to cause i had asked for the whole weekend off over a month ago but the other 3 girls i work with asked for it off about 2 weeks ago to go over to the island and they get it>>>> totally not fair

Oh well, I'm definitely not going, there's no way I'm getting the day off 'cause I have to do an orientation for my new hires and a group interview. At least there's an important reason why I couldn't get the day off.

As for the rest of you guys, you should suggest to your manager(s) that they come up with a fair method of booking off days. For example, my management team came up with a rule that only 7 people may book off and day Mon-Thur, and only 5 people may book off any Fri-Sun. A manager must initial each request in our availability book and if there are already the maximum number off people booked off, SORRY!

Thankfully I was able to get my days all booked off, even with a new job I just got hired for. Sucks you won't be able to come to APEX, why not just come for a bit though and enjoy it and then go home, who says you have to stay the whole night anways right? And it's all good if you're dead the next morning, you're doing orientation. Meh, just a suggestion. Hang in there :D

Monday 2-11, Tuesday 10-6:30, Wed 7-4, Thurs 10-6:30, Fri 11-7, Sat 8-6

So I have just enough time to get changed and pick up everyone in my car before I have to start the long drive to apex. DAMN JOBS
