If the dj's cant handle pictures of themselves performing then they should go fuck themselves ( or get a normal job.) I mean come on if celebrities/singers/actors can function in their lives being followed every second of the day by people taking photos of them and trying to catch them doing anything that can make them look bad, then i think DJ'S should be able to handle photos of them doing their fucking job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!jeffnrevjl, svms, lvjs!
P.s. those bringing up the talk about slutty attire over and over again just shut up. Its not gonna change and its just plain annoying when pple talk about it constantly. Last edited by diarrhea; Sep 21, 05 at 05:01 PM. |

The whole camera rule is stupid, that rule could apply to anything really. There are so many places where your face could be exposed to a camera. As for the slutty girls... I think people have a right to bitch about the fact that you can see a girls ass cheeks or other things... they don't pay to see that... and what kind of self- respect can that girl have if she is showing up like that... I find it offensive and just plain annoying.
So does this mean that Doomnight means no cameras? |

so, uh, what production company is this?
because, lets face it, a lot of different entities exist that throw parties, and that sounds like only one company doing shit like that. the key is to not go to their parties. Fuck 'em. let em suck a dick up till they hiccup. really.....you don't HAVE to go to their party. |

All this talk about camera's being banned... but is this just because of one or two raves? Is there now actual enforcement for the banning of camera's at raves? I've ONLY seen this at Trancemission. Is it a brand new law? Is there proof? Or was it just the security and what not not wanting cameras at one rave. Anyone? lol

People can bring cameras if they want to ENIGMA
I have no idea why that rule was put in place, maybe the security is used to working concerts where cameras are not permitted. I will make it very clear to them that cameras are allowed at my party |

Innersoul had posters "No Cameras or Glowsticks" posted in the hallway before the search tables, so it wasnt JUST Trancemission that has had this rule inplace... it just happened that Trancemission was the first party to be in effect without the promoters knowing about this...

A little defensive are we? It's also equally as annoying when raves are constantly full of people like that. A handful of creepy guys might think its hot, doesn't mean everyone is going to like it. |

Because some promoters are control freaks and/or have other issues?
Being a DJ and performing in front of people is a form of celebrity and should be treated as that. Famous or not it is a performance. DJ's not wanting their picture taken isn't likely the real problem. See first comment. I mean think about it: some promoters probably don't want those pictures of E rabid little 15 year old girls in booty shorts at their rave at 4 am circulated widely, for whatever reason. Because god forbid the real truth be exposed, parents find out what really happens at a rave, etc. Some people might have guilty consciences about this. ?? This is a shame, that's for sure, coming from an honest photographer that only shows and shares the best of photos. |

OK so if there is no more underwear, whats left?!
just straight nakedness? YOU RULE! BTW everyone I had a long talk with the head guy from Limited. Cameras will be allowed, as usualy no gum, glowsticks, food, beverages. He also assured me that they will continue to search everyone well. The same as they would search you at The PNE. Thats best for the safety for everyone. At one of the last raves they found weapons, so yeah thats not to cool! Last edited by AGROculture; Sep 23, 05 at 02:45 AM. |

banning cameras from parties and clubs has little to do with legalities and more to do with promoters wanting to control the way their parties are portrayed. nearly every party i've been to anywhere in this world has allowed cameras. if legalities were such an issue then why are cameras OK everywhere else?
it's pretty rare for cameras to be banned outright at parties. the only place i've been where strict camera bans are enforced is montreal, and the only reason for it is that promoters want to build an aura of mystery around their events, and they don't want you to be able to take the experience out of the club/party with you. the biggest rave promoters in montreal, 514 productions, have another reason, too- they have pro photographers at the parties that charge hard cash to take your pics and email them to you! silly. |
