Getting rear-ended

I was on my way out for dinner with a few friends and I got hit at 17th and Cambie. One of my friends that was in the car has a stiff neck (she couldn't even turn her head even as soon as it happened), and I'm sorta waiting until tomorrow to see how crappy I feel.

Someone stopped in front of me (they were either pulling into a parallel parking spot or out of it), the weather was shitty (it was pouring rain), and the girl that hit me said she didn't even see me. It happened at like, 17th and Cambie.

Overnight mine neck's gotten sore and stiff (I also feel a bit of a pull in my upper chest and a bit of an ache in my forearms from bracing against the steering wheel when we got hit). I have a dr's appoinment at 3:20 today, so we'll see what he has to say about that.

The car goes to see an adjuster on Tuesday, and from what it looks like will probably need a new bumper.

go to court tell them you can't sleep at night cuz you're having nightmares about the incident, tell them you can't control your bladder and you're scared to get in the driver's seat...

you can make money on this...

go see a doctor and pee your pants in front of him... he'll write a good note for you... i know its quite a bit of emberrassment to go throught, but the better you play the more money you'll get! getting rear ended is like winning a lottery!

i was rear ended last march and i STILL have a fucked up back/neck/shoulder from it. g'luck dealing with icbc and their "low velocity impact collision" bullshit.

Last time I got rear ended and got whiplash I settled with ICBC for $16,000.

But I did have to suffer through the physio and neck pain for a while.

just go through physio and get lots of massages from a massage therapy... dont worry... nothing was ur fault.. everything shuld fall into place soon and be ok:)
