Something in my throat.

ARRRRG. It's annoying the hell out of me. For the last 5 days I've had this strange feeling on one side of my throat. It feels as if there is a small piece of food stuck in there right under my jaw, and it just wont go down. It's pissing me off because I'm constantly trying to swallow, drink water, eat. Pretty much do anything to flush it down. But I don't think there is really anything in there. Maybe I scratched it, and it's super sensitive. But it's driving me insane!!!

i recommend trying some saline nasal spray in combination with gargling salt water

highly recommend the saline nasal spray. it has worked wonders for some of my allergy symptoms. Im sure it might help dislodge something thats caught with combo of gargling saltwater, or scope like gusto suggested

^haha I knew that was cumming ;). I'm starting to wonder if it's high enough to be my tonsils. But they arn't sore or anything. I may get it checked out though if it doesn't go away soon. I'll try some major gargling tonight.

i was told by someone one time that that could be a sign of something like an ulcer...i've had an ulcer...and i get that feeling all the time, which drives me nuts

try some tums or rolaids see if that works

Could be strep. Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. Its probably puss(ew) or mucus on the side of your throat. Good news: if it is strep you only need to get antibiotics and it will go away in no time.

^yah that might be it. Because today I woke up with a really scratchy sore throat. God I hope I can get rid of it soon. I don't want to be dealing with it on vacation. :(
