The fact that I still have not done my taxes

I should stop with the procrastination on this one, and find out what I owe the government =(

This is the first year where I have a more complicated set of paper work to do (independent contracting) and I think I should maybe see someone about doing it for me
But that involves spending money I don't have

I haven't done mine in 3 years. AHHHH!

I don't have all my T4's, I have moved around so much and some places I have worked for in the past have closed down and neve gave me a T4. What do I do? I don't know how I can get ahold of those employers. I do not have my pay stubs either.
Is there anything I can do?

Next year I'll be getting a good accountant for my return b/c with school and everything else it's a little over my head.

Go to revenue canada they have them all on file and will give them to you

RC will have copies of all your T4's

You have to go in person, iam pretty sure they wont tell u any inforamtion over the phone because of privacy issues

When a T4 and ROEs are processed by a Business there is a third Copy that is always sent to Ottawa.

It was easy as shit and I could file as soon as I was done. They lay it out for non-accountant types. It wasn't too bad for independent contracting stuff either.

I went to school last year so it was free, but otherwise I think it's around $15.

Dave, great minds think alike. I use that to do mine every year too. And I like that as far as addition goes, there is no room for error.

I did my mothers and my grandmas this year as well. My mom and I both paid $15 and my grandma was free based on her earnings.

They really do make it user friendly for the tax inept as well.
