new generation cell phones...
I have a Sony Ericsson V800... it's not brand new, but still.... 1.3 megapixel camera and all that shit.
But I think the brands are trying to put as much technology as possible in a phone and sell it for an affordable price... So something has to be cheap... and that is, I think, the fucking material they use. I never put any other sim card in my phone and still the piece I put the Sim card in is so breakable....Now the sim card isnt in well and my phone doesnt recognize it all the time and shuts down while I am talking or typing messages.... Fuck that shit, right now it took me half an hour to put it back in properly. So unless you spend a huge amount of money for cell, you have a piece of crap.... I'd rather have a stronger phone body and better material used than all that technology for the price I payed.. Last edited by MarcelM; Jun 10, 06 at 07:17 AM. |

I do, it's not a problem of taking care of it, I have had a lot of phones and I have changed like 4 or 5 camera phones... I remember when I had the Nokia 5110 or Panasonic GD90 years ago, they didnt brake as easily, they were just built stronger.... What I am trying to say.... brands want to make their phones as technological as possible, because costumers buy them based on how many Pixels the camera has, how much memory and how many different formats it can read and stuff like that ( it is like that here and I buy them cause of those things ) and they want to spend as less as possible. I think ( but of course I hope you can prove me wrong ), brands are using the cheapest material for the phone body, to make it still affordable... I didn't pay this phone a lot ( around 250 euros without contract) and I remember paying 500 or more 3 years ago for a panasonic gd 87, when it came out brand new and it lasted like 2 years and then I changed it because of a software problem, and my dad is still using it and it works fine......
