I went back and chilled out in the old Superstore Photo/Audio department I used to work at in Duncan for like 10 minutes while I waited for my friend. Apparently the other departments were complaining that the Photo/Audio dept. was having too much fun.
I used to love working at that place. The wage was dece, the hours were craptacular but the job itself was pretty fun. $10 an hour to talk to people about video games and movies all day. only thing that would have made it better was a better music section. But I brought in my own cds at night and played them anyways... always had like 3 people asking me if we sold the CD if I did that.... But yeah, the customers. God almighty the customers. One day this chick, kinda cute, comes in with a canister of film asking about our obsenity policy. I give her the schpiel - nothing illegal so underage nudity and, like, pictures of weed plants and growops are generally a bad idea. So she hands in the film, I give the lab the heads up that there might be something "obscene" on this roll, and half an hour later the lab manager comes down. "So who asked about the obscenity policy?" "I dunno them..." "Girl or guy?" "Girl." "She cute?" "yeah." she hands me the picture of her getting stuffed up the ass. "still think she's cute?" had to bite my lip from keeping yelling out ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HELL YEAH... but I restrained myself. true story.

I worked in retail for 3 years and it totally sucks that "the customer is always right" b/c half the time they aren't!
Especially when they are trying to exchange pants that have clearly been worn and they didn't even attempt to wash the dirt off the bottom or the smell of there rotten p****y out to even make me think that they weren't worn. haha sheesh some ppl grow some brains! good thread :)

i work in a photo studio that does photos for the highschool and universitys.
I am always so shocked at how dumb ppl can actually be. the thing i hate the most is * repeating myself like they don't belive what i am saying is true. * when ppl answer there own questions. * when ppl think that everything should be free.

I work at Lotuswear and man, I hear you on the bitchy customers.
I had someone come in the other day and had bought something on the online department of our store and wanted to return it. The online department is completely seperate and technically we arne't allowed to deal with it but I listened to her and felt that maybe I could do an exchange. Anyways, it has no tags, she has no receipt and the clothing looked worn. I am not an unreasonable person and would have done something for her, but she was all like "Look it's your logo, why won't you take it back" and here I am trying to explain that well it's been worn and you have no proof that you bought it anywhere and the person you dealt with in the internet order is not available. She was pointing at the logo and I was just like, I realize that and she's like stop saying you realize, I hate that. I was like, there is nothing we can do for you, you'll have to deal with the department about that one. I cannot take back merchandise that I cannot sell in the store. It's just ridiculous sometimes, the things that people try, it's like are you that stupid? I work as an assistant manager, soon to be manager and although I love my job, there are alot of noobs out there that I just want to kick out the door and tell them to never come back. Like Jess said, those guys that ask for your number are always interesting, as those people who are lonely and have nothing better to do but talk to you because they have sad lonely lives.... ok I'm done
