The bastards got me!
So i turn on my computer today to find this lovely message....
"Your copy of microsoft windows is not genuine. You may be the victim of software counterfeiting" blah blah blah. it still lets me use my computer fully... but i dont know for how long. I guess ill find out sooner or later.

just so you know SO MANY copies of windows that are actually legit are getting that message. One of mine at work has it, even. I guess so many Microsoft employees were stealing keys and using them that a bunch of legitimate ones ended up getting flagged.
And I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it hasn't done anything other than annoy me every morning.

if you go into the options of the "get genuine" message you can change the settings so it doesnt pop up and annoy you,
It has got me to, nothing has happend yet, and my comp still downloaded some updates for windows last week,

Try and find a copy of TinyXP... it's a stripped down and more efficient running version. No cracky crack needed as far as I know. I think I have the ISO kicking around too.
