Avana: Lesson Learned... I too left a Lunch in the communal Fridge at work. Came in from a Flight expecting my Chicken Pot Pie to be there and waiting. Only to find it missing. You can't leave anything in there or it's at risk. That's why I don't bring stuff that needs to be cold. Just stash it in your Desk. Buy the Drink or whatever needs to be cold.

Current LARGE PINK SIGN taped to the fridge:

"If you didn't make yourself a lunch, please don't feel free to help yourself to someone else's. It leaves the targeted party hungry and it is just plain not nice."

pet peeve of mine as well. I have claimed the crisper as my own little see-through safe. it doesnt protect my grub much, but i think it has an extra deterant aspect to it.

on a side note.....we now have an ice cream machine at my work. i can see it from my office.
