having a black thumb.
:( I'm a plant killer.
My apartment needed some life so I decided to start my plant collection with a 2-foot-tall yucca plant. I named him bill, and put him in my room. I watered Bill a couple times a week, more often when it was hot....then I noticed Bill's previously dark-green leaves were starting to look a little yellow. I thought maybe he wasn't getting enough light in my bedroom and moved him to the living room where he could get lots of afternoon sunshine. He started turning more yellow. I water him every few days or whenever his soil looks dry, and he's getting lots of light, but he keeps looking sicker and sicker and now some of his leaves even have holes in them! I feel like a murderer. :( |

already did. It just says to make sure it gets lots of light and to not overwater. Maybe I'll try watering it less often? But the soil gets so dry, I think I'm watering the right amount. These guys are supposed to be easy to take care of!
(good thing I don't have kids) |

Be careful with tropical desert plants as they can be finnicky and likely panic due to the slightest change in temperature and light even! Don't panic because of the yellow leaves or the holes because it's likely being fussy because you moved it.
With these types of plants because they are accustomed to an arid, but warm environment, overwatering can be very easy. I would reccomend allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings and maybe mist the leaves every few days instead of watering completely. |

did you give it the impression that you would support it no matter what it's lifestyle choices were?
deep inside that planty mass of Bill, there may have been a Bonnie screaming to get out. |
