its called valume(sp?)......i was told u have to make a list and try to get like 4 things done a day(my mom told me).....it works=)

stress is normal u just have to learn how to manage ur time and issues and it will all come together...one thing at a time and u should be back to feeling normal. stress really comes from the way to u choose to think and take things...i use to be overly stressed all the time having anziety(sp?) attacks n stuff when i was younger....i changed the way i think..it has taken me about 7 years and didnt happen over night.

if ur feeling really confused and scared or anything like that u should go see a doctor...but if ur not at that point opening up to a trusting friend might be the way to go about it. if u keep it all inside u will explode and thats not a good thing.

People react differently to stress so a breakdown for one person could just be a minor freak out for another. It all depends I guess..

i comptletely agree, its happened to me, and has been happening to me quite often recently, to the point where it would just consume me and i couldnt do anything at all. that would be a breakdown im guessing. but once i talk to someone, or just get everything out of my mind and just talk to friends, it usually goes away.

I've broken out in Shingles before due to stress. It's not fun at all. Also, migraines, acne and ulcers are signs too.

Stress may lead to anxiety and a good pill for that is celexa. It's an anti-depresant but also works wonders for anxiety due to taking a smaller dosge. Different side affects happen to different ppl. So I can't say that it will 100% work for you, but if you find that it starts to affect your everyday life, you may want to talk to your doctor about it..

Also, try to cut out and the parts of your life that may be the cause of all the stress.

^^ drugs are bad. I used to have harsh anxiety attacks and they prescibed that shit for me. I refused to take it. Mind over matter. You can control almost every aspect of yourself both physically and mentally if you believe you can and set your mind to it. May sound lame, but try somthing medatiative. Not meditation per-se, i dont expect buddist monk type ohhmmmmm'ing. Just somthing that allows you to focus your mind and sort through the mass of jumbled thoughts that are causing you the stress. Every big problem or source of stress can be broken into smaller, simpler problems. Once you are able to see the infrastructure of what is causing you this stress you can start to systematically eliminate or solve the issues. Before you know it, you will feel SO much better.

i did say that they weren't for EVERYONE :) As you are very right... sometimes ppl can make it on their own. However when it involves a chemical inbalance in your brain, good luck fighting that out as sometimes stress can lead to having that.

Meditation is a good piece of advice. It does infact work wonders.

Yeh ativan and klonopins level you out like a zombie. It takes off the edge and i love having that edge of up and down because it helps my creativity. Or maybe i'm just crazy.
