Can you litterly have too much stress where its medicaly not healthy for you?

What classifies as a breakdown?

Is there a way to tell if your having one or whatever?

Stress is relative. That being said, I highly doubt that it's possible for one person to properly gauge the severity of another persons' stress. At least not enough to be able to assess whether or not medical intervention is required, unfortunately.

dude.... I've been so stressed before that I began loosing hair from my head... eyebrows...... ya..... now thats stress and yes it does happen... I consulted my doctor and said that that was caused by stress...

Stressed to the point where my eyes were twitchin. 2 weeks later I went to the doctor, good bye $80. My eyes were still twitchin. Suicidal thought defintaley count as too much stress. And number 3...shaving your head because you just don't give a fuck.

I think you'd know if your stress was starting to seep into your life and affect your health, you wouldn't have to ask if it could because you'd have a fairly good idea if it did.

Why not counteract it with a dose of healthy lifestyle?

Sure life can be stressful and at times unbearable but don't sit and bath yourself in it, be proactive. Hows your diet? do you exercise regularily? surely spinning records can help relieve some stress. Sorry I don't mean to be preachy but I have had my share of stress in the past and these were the only things that actually made a difference.

Ps: I went to a private school called Holy Cross. Every year some bonehead from another school would litter our grounds with spray paint. Holley cross sucks! it would read. I remember thinking, "Who is this Holley girl? and if she sucks surely I would've found out by now"

I used to be a veryyy stressed out child. I worried about money, my family..everything. Eventually I got a really bad stomach ulcer..and definately changed my lifestyle after that. Its definately easy to stress yourself out now and then..but you have to learn ways to get over it =-D

I would have really bad anxiety attacks when I was stressed. Basically what this feels like to me was, couldn't breathe, pains in my left arm, out of control heartbeat, dizzy, etc. I told my doctor and she gave me adavans. Those basically turned me into a zombie but they did hekp when things got really bad. Then my bf got a puppy. That pretty much got rid of the rest of the stress. Honestly.. who can be stressed out when you have a silly little dog waddling around your house..
