Much respect to the westcoast dubstep scene!
Quite enjoyed reading through this thread.. I'm hailing from Victoria over here and heave fully immersed myself in the heavy dub sounds recently (buying vinyl, collecting dubs, and producing a touch). If you'd like to peep a more chilled out breakstep/dubstep tune, you're welcome to give er a free d/l here: Rhythmicon - Super Dub [Chainsaw] http://www.chainsawsound.com/dubs/futureclassics/Rhythmicon%20-%20Super%20Dub%20(Breakstep%20Mix)%5bCha insaw%20Sound%5d.mp3 ..Still working on my engineering, but you can kind of catch the vibe I'm going for. Love working on this stuff. Much respect and looking forward to the Kode9 show! Cheers. |

The Bug's new album kills the new Benga. Benga rests all of his track on big, warping basslines, and he tweaks those well. However, The Bug's London Zoo is a full album with more complicated production and fierce lyrics. They would actually play this album in Jamaica. Well worth checking out.

Welll..... It happened... Unfortunantly due to pressure from media and what not. Burial has revealed himself. This ends alot of rumors on who he is, however it brings a sad ending to the on going mystery of the person behind some of the most influential tunes in dubstep
Check out the dubstepforum thread here... dubstepforum.com :: View topic - Burial posts photo.. |

nope... In reality he wanted to be anonymous.... However ever since his last album "Untrue" was released it has turned heads in the music industry... So much to the point that he is nominated for an award (something smiliar to the grammy's but in europe). And unfortunantly "The Sun" (news company) had one of there editors really go to to find out who he was... And they were about to reveal Burial until he found out that they would be posting images of him soon so he decided to post an image of himself instead.
