If I ever get a chance, I'd kill to hit the decks with Soo at a house party or something. Somewhere that we'd have a chance to experiment and for him to show me some shit.
Matty G too.. that guy's got great taste in tracks and doesn't make a nub feel out of place on the decks when they're still learning, like most experienced DJs do. After all, I'm only really learning so I can chill in my bedroom and rinse out beats that I want to hear. |

I've done a lot of tag sets with kickass locals (LJF, Akeel, Omega, Mateo, Johnny Illbeans, Skip EZ ect...) and enjoyed every one of them :)
It can be a lot of fun to mix it up with someone who has a bit different style and way of mixing, it gets you out of your old ways of doing things and makes it interesting. |

rob (surgeon) and i were playing records at jamie's house (jungle souldier) for his birthday a couple years back and mat decided to grab phil's old dusty scratch records and just lay a couple scratches on top every once in a while. i have no idea how someone could make those sounds come out of a record. absolute insanity.
dj's i'd like to play records with: soo playing his old fairy jungle, surgeon trading off beats is always fun. i'm sure there are others. |
