Loops n' Samples

know anywhere I can get some drum loops and samples? Preferably free as this is a class project and have to remix a song. And if not, could you reffer me to any loop packages to buy? Looking for some industrial drum n bass type stuff.. something like prodigy or chemical brothers style.

it's a class project, but they aren't giving you anything to work with? what class is it? does everyone have to remix a song?

I'm with mux on this one.... they expect you to do a remix of a track with samples that they don't provide you with???? Whats the point on paying fee's for a course when they don't even provide the necessary materials..

my guess is that they provide the song that the students have to remix-

but they're actually expecting the students to be resourceful and use their brains to figure out how they will remix the song.

Wouldnt it be boring if all students were expected to remix a song with all the same remix resources/materials?

Ahh... well were doing a remix of NIN - Only. We have all the production samples from the track and some extras from NIN. I'd like to get some other loops or samples for it.

Serious? Are you guys mixing NIN "Only?" For samples, there are plenty of sites on the internet like http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsView.php
Then you have stuff like Loop Guru, Samplecity.net, etc.
Honestly, I never could use anything from the internet, it doesn't move me in any way, shape, or form.
I have some decent loops and samples on DVD. PM me if you are interested.
