All Metallica albums (and by all I really mean the Black album and older, the subsequent ones don't qualify as heavy metal imo. Hetfield should never have sobered up)

Most of the King Crimson albums (for those who want to know where progressive rock came from >> there hardly were bands so ahead of their time)

But my favourite album of all time has got to be

^ still gives me chills every time

va - total trip hop (sick breaks compilation)
va - torque (the album that got me into dark dnb courtesy of ed rush & nico)
