^ I still remember my mom and her bestfriend taking me to see "Stop Making Sense" at The Ridge Theatre when I was 7 years old. It helped being surrounded by parents and family members with great taste in music. Hell, DOA used to come over for BBQs in the back yard.

My parents have no real cultural identies. My dad used to have some killer cd's kicking around that he never listened to. I had to build it on my own once I found Master of Puppets lying on the side of the road one day.

DOA still play the odd gig around town. Joey Shithead is still mostly wrapped up in politics with Green Party in Burnaby though. All quality guys.

In my opinion the Black Album was the nail in the coffin. I think we can all thank Bob Rock for that one.

If you're going to condemn the band, I think Load/Reload would have been the nail in the coffin. Although they're still better albums than 94.2% of the bullshit metal coming out these days.
