this DJ should poses good taste in music, mixing skills, and stage presence. they should not play any one genre specifically. who really wants to hear house or breaks for 2 hours any more? if they had any DMC skills to speak of I would be very impressed. this person should also feel free to steal any good ideas they see and improve on them to make them their own. for instance if they used VDJ's as part of their set (Mike Relm) I would be very happy.

For the record, since the Sh*tshow was a gimmick, the runner-up who actually posted a mix was given a timeslot (actually, an even better timeslot since they were slated to play after us), and then that person flailed and didn't even bother to show up.
Oh, and just about every review of last year's Sh*tshow was positive.
And frankly, I don't see how the Sh*tshow being all about Hair Metal mash-up is any different from Team Trainwreck, which is made up of three typically House DJs playing for the sake of just fun music and saying "f*ck off" to technical skill.
And asking an Apex DJ to keep themselves from staying in a single genre? Please, that's like asking MC Groove to shut up.
