Any time a genre gets stale, everyone suddenly adds breaks to its blueprint in order to spice it up and get people to notice it for a short time before it dies out again.
Therefore, I'm jumping on the electro breaks bandwagon right now to claim I was bangin' it before anyone knew of it. :045: <------- Wears them at nite! |

haven't trance breaks been around for a while? i dont think they are anything new...
that said. i love trance. i love breaks. and breaks with sweeping pads and slowly moving melodic lines and progressions (i.e. trance breaks) are kick ass as well. LETS HEAR IT for liking MORE than ONE genre!!!!!!! =) |

it's been around for a while ... sasha, hybrid, ashtrax, starecase (aka general midi) have been putting it out for 6+ years. there's alot of shitty trancey breaks that basically have the drums and highs of florida breaks with some cheeeez synth line thrown over top, but the stuff that comes from europe a la the guys i mentioned above (as well as many many others right now) are tight. i think it's number 7 or 8 on the album, a track called boileroom is fucking amazing. one of the cleanest yet dirtiest basslines i've ever heard ... played it at apex and it went over really well. the whole sasha album is great ... listenable at home but still filled with some peak time tunes
