Guess who got a 2.5 million dollar deal!
Anyone remember my cousin MC E.motionz

He used to rock it all the time at Talksic Tuesdays and othr AGROevents with his beatbox & mc'in skillz

He's now moved down to L.A. for a while working on his first album featuring Dj Quick on the Dreamworks label

I'm very proud of him a true rags to riches story since he lived at times right in the heart of the downtown eastside

I remember seeing him @ shambhala this summer on the mainstage and thinking to myself "yeah this was the same guy rocking the spanish, good to see he's getting up there."

That's so awesome for him, Dave!

The first time I saw him was at this MC comp in Richmond, prolly two years ago now. Some cocky ass guys were up there rhyming some shit, they weren't even freestyling....he went up there are whooped the crap out of EVERYONE!

I never knew that he was your cousin tho Dave! hahah! Good for him, he totally deserves it!

Yeah he was nutz at Return Of The Vibe. Hey Dave ask him about a guy hes rapped with named Pofe-C, its pronounced prophecy. Profe-C is one of my best friends and he came to ROTV with me. Him and Emotionz knew each other already through the local music industry and they've rapped a few times together. I remember both of them at ROTV in the hallway rippin shit up, Emotionz was beat boxing (the craziest beat boxer I've ever met) while Profe-C was freestyling, my buddy Profe-C had told me about Emotionz deal, thats good for him, and I know he won't disappoint.
