Just venturing into Reaktor, which is going to take a long time to master. Reaktor is very humbling for me. |

Once I get a firm understanding of Reaktor, I'm going multi channel surround to get work in the film/gamming industry for sound design. I am completley self taught, and very proud of the skill I have gained in 8 years of teaching myself. Here's a quote from Stuart Price (Madonna, Seal) in SOS Feb 08- "But I think one thing that was able to be proven was that working on your music music in your bedroom as a 16 year old versus working with Madonna or Seal or being on stage in front of 100, 000 people... that gap is not that wide. There's a lot of experience that needs to happen to give you that kind of confidence. But it's NOT like a far-off universe working at that level." I have the confidence. My last track I did last Christmas got a great responce. My DAW has been down since January, and I finaly got it running %100 yesterday, also switched to Live which has bit of a curve to learn (wtf is that shortcut again? I'm going to buy a sticker set!). Where's a Ninja boy track? |

come on, that's gold.
I truley aspire to be the Noel Gallager of dance music. It's fun. If you know me, or talk to me I'm a pretty nice guy, that's really positive about life in general, I can be pretty quik with the tounge somtimes. |

what market? 100 tracks on beatport=10 bucks in my pocket. Well there's always the chance I'll have a "Call on Me", and make big bucks.
I do it for the challenge. I want to be known. |

Not really.

1) Presumptive 2) Cocky 3) Elitist 4) Wrong regardless of how much of any of these traits you have. If you knew everything there is to know about production, wtf are you doing making tunes in your bedroom? Why aren't you in a pro studio pumping out beats for Jay-Z and Madonna? Or at the very least for small local acts that need producers behind them? What is your day job btw? If it's anything other than "Professional Audio Engineer" then you really don't have the cred to back up statements like the ones you're making. |

And I thought I made it clear that I don't make rave music anymore. |

I'll go with a number 2, but it's really just confidence. If you can back it up, have'r. Quote:

My engineering has come a long way. I was going off more about sound design with synths, but in the end it's all the same isn't it? |

It is clear, but I was implying that if it's so fucken easy to make dance music, why wouldn't you? If it was easy for me to play in the NHL, I would be there in a heartbeat. You don't make sence. |
