Music from the 60's and 70's

I just picked up a bunch of compelte sets and compliations spanning 1960 - 1975 and they are now up on the ftp site in the 'new stuff' folder until i have time to reorganize the folders.

Anyone know 'Earth Angel'???

How about 'Rockin Robin'??

Or.... 'Vrooom... vrooom... Leader of the Pack'

oh dear.

okay.

I am an oldies addict. For a while the radio in my boyfriend's car was broken so the only station we could get was 650 AM , an oldies station. Thing is, we really started to like it. They play some good tunes.

lol. If you like Earth Angel (which is actually 50's I think) try sixteen candles, johnny angel, and (one of my personal favorites) judy's turn to cry.

Other good oldies I've become addicted to since listening to 650AM:

cool jerk-the capitols
sittin on the dock of the bay-otis redding
help me-joni mitchell
chain of fools-aretha franklin
natural woman-aretha franklin
my guy-diana ross and the supremes
hats off to the stranger-lighthouse

Well, I think your taste is running a little more to cheese while mine runs a little more to soul/blues, but it's all good.

you should download judy's turn to cry. it's funny.

I love sould and R&B. I'm just organizing a few sets right now.

I mentioned the monkees since I haven't heard that track in ages.

My favorite style was Doowop in that timespan.

Earth Angel is from the fifties I'm pretty sure. I love fifties stuff, but I really can't stand anything from the seventies.

Love so much of it, so many different genres.

Old country like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Brenda Lee

Northern Soul, Motown..unnnnf.

I also have a guilty pleasure for rock like CCR...
