Vancouver Local Raves! Raving isn't dead in Van.

Hey everyone! I'm not sure how many people still use this Forum... but here goes nothing.

There are now a decent amount of legal local shows in Vancouver. There are around nine or ten promotional companies that host shows in Vancouver nowadays: Unity, IntercityBeatz, Trizik, Paradoxx, Diamond,Fusion, Solid, MSH Sessions, and of course, Blueprint.

The smaller raves are hosted by Trizik, Unity, Intercity Beatz, Diamond, and Fusion.

"Massives" are hosted by Solid, Blueprint, and soon, other companies as well.

Trizik and ICB generally host Hardcore and Hardstyle shows. Hardstyle is quickly exploding in Vancouver.

Of course, because of the laws in BC, many shows are hosted at clubs such at Celebrities, FiveSixty, Venue, etc... but if you're looking for a good time at a local show, I highly suggest Trizik and Intercity Beatz; both companies host "all ages events". These shows boast lower ticket prices, and where you will meet all the Kandi kids and local DJ's, as well as big headliners from across the world. Tickets generally start at around $25-$30.

Bluprint now has an annual winter festival called Contact, and also has other annual festivals such as Seasonsfest, and Get Together. Contact is hosted at BC Place, and the other festivals are hosted at the PNE Colleseum. The PNE Forum is no longer allowed to host raves due to a dispute between the community and the PNE over noise complaints... so we just moved down the street to the Colleseum. Smaller raves are hosted at various locations around Vancouver.

In the future, there will be LEGAL all ages raves that go from dusk until dawn; the first company to do so is Intercity Beatz. Trizik plans on hosting larger all ages shows at better venues, and Fusion events plans on also getting into the "massive" business soon.

There is also a Vancouver Rave Family Facebook page consisting of around 800+ people all across BC
