What's your favorite song ever???
I'm not gonna post a poll this time. The last one I posted was, well, you saw it.
Mine has to be, without a doubt, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "Summertime." Pure, unadulterated musical genius. Yes, it's a given that you can only play it at a certain time of year, but you can leave it on repeat the whole day and not get bored of it. And the look on everyone's face when they hear the intro??? Priceless. Everthing was there, Prince's lyrics as well as his delivery were top notch. And the production??? Well let's just put it this way. Jazz was on the tables. 'Nuff said. And if I hear anyone say, "Yeah I love Will Smith's old shit," you're gonna get hurt. Will Smith doesn't have any old shit. It was a team effort. You ever notice that the only good shit that Will has come out with are the tracks he did with Jazz??? Listen to "So Fresh" and you'll know. But I'm rambling again. So yeah, "Summertime," the greatest song ever recorded!!! -Dwight:Somatic: |

I think it's kind of difficult to pick a favorite song ever because there are just so many good songs out there.
But I think I narrowed it down to one song. I love *tomorrow* by silverchair. I have loved silverchair ever since the first time I heard that song back in 1994. They are my favorite band, and have been since then. It's rad hearing that song live and in person:) It's rad hearing any song live and in person though. *hugs n luvs* |

Glory Box is good... but.... All Mine just... *swoons* I love Mezzanine too, I've had it on MP3 for months and months and months and have finally broken down and decided to buy the CD, just because I want to be able to hold it in my hands. Hehe.

I found that having internet kinda ruined my taste for music, I used to like a song for a long time, but now I would just plug it into winamp until I'm very sick of it. Right now playing in my winamp:
"Buddy Holly", Weezer "Hash Pipe", Weezer "Stay", Lisa Loeb and the Nine Stories "Days Like That", Sugar Jones "Trappy L'il Madness", Jon Whiteman "Love Will Never Do Without You", Janet "Baby Got Back", Sir Mix-A-Lot "Loverboy (Remix)", Mariah Carey feat Da Brat, Ludicras "Right Now!", Infini-T "Drive", Incubus "Sour Girl", Stone Temple Pilot "Days Of The Week", Stone Temple Pilot "Kiss the Rain", Billie Myers It's a different story next week though. = p |
