"d-groove"
i was reading an article in the georgia straight the other day and i cam upon an article about a new dj product called "d-groove" and the jist i got from reading it was that its a product thats along the same lines as final scratch but much more user friendly and specific for different types of djs.......i'd love to sit here and type the whole post so u could read it, but no.....some cool facts that i read are that for scratch dj's the piece of vinyl can actually "morph" itself (create a bump) so u know where to cue or if ur looking for a specific sample.......the only thing that i didnt like about it was that u dont use the record on a turntable, it comes mounted on something (sorry cant remember) that has an input/output that u hook up to a mixer....ubc has already patented the idea and the creator is in the works to get it manufactured.........wonderin if anyone else has heard about this? and wat ur opinion was?
