that's a solid list. I've seen a few of those groups live: Rancid, NoFX, Good Riddance, Millincollin, Less Than Jake, and Lagwagon. Propaghandi is stellar music.. definately influencial in my music.
Some of my favourite punk groups include:

Shearing Pink (Vancouver locals.. noise punk)
Mudhoney
Dayglo Abortions
The Melvins
Green Day's 'Dookie'.. haha. just that album (I know, I know.. but it appeals to the burnout I was in highschool)
and of course.. the greatest solo punk act in history.. me. "Amplified Stupidity", haha. Seriously though.. I need a band.

I have to throw in that some of the best punk in the country has to be the Dayglo Abortions.. such phenomenal music and they're all-canadian, and have yet to sign to a big label despite being one of the biggest names in underground punk in Canada. I dig a local Vancouver group called Leper as well - evil, dirty ska. They've played a gig or two at the Candy Bar, and they do quazi-regular gigs at the Astoria I believe. Nice people.

by the way.. the Astoria Hotel on E Hastings is the place to be to check out good punk and metal acts. $5 at the door, a bus stop right in front (they let me in a year shy of legal) and the best yet.. $4 for a bottle of beer or $8.50 for a jug of draft. Check it out, it's a fucking awesome time. and fucking mosh, I'm tired of being in a three-man pit when I'm there.

Even though i liten to them every day i miss these guys i would love to have the oppurtunity to see them live again. Even though the fare well show was the best event i've ever had the pleasure of attending.
