they were denied at the border when coming through to the toronto area 1.

i love the roots...one of my fav hip hop groups...
its different hip hop...PHAT lyrics and jazzy tunes...crazy shit..i used to have DOZENS of phat roots tunes..commons pretty sweet too..i also like other underground hip hop like styles of beyond, Hieroglyphics/Souls of Mischief (the main dude from Gorrillaz is Del the funky homosapien who is from both those other groups)...saukrates..the Liks are sweet but theyre pretty big..but still put out some phat shit...

If u wanna hear some CRAZY ass shit...get some X-Raided...hes BUCK...get "misanthropy" for sure..shit theres lots of other ones that u should get but i can't remember..jus get diff ones...ill shit ....

I saw them today. And now I'm giving my short review on them.

I caught their act from begining to end.

Kicking off the show with some beatboxing. Than some tracks, don't rememeber the names. PUSSY? The original freestyle'n was pretty good. But I didn't think their was enough jazz-ish piano keys emitting from the speakers! Could barely hear the piano keys. I'm told because Area1:Festival's "midrange" wasn't on. Anyways I'm a big up piano fan and that just made a damper on my Roots experience!

Ghostface (aka my #1 hip hop boyfriend) is rumored to be appearing on the rock tha bells tour feat raekwon, redman, smiff&wessun, etc.

I'd really like to know if this is for sure because I'm not sure pretty toney can get across the border, but if he can, I'll risk no sleep for work on wed for that show.
