i can't say his enuf, but avril lavigne is fuking horrible and the biggest poser ever! belh! i saw an interview and she was eating all this organic stuff talking about how she loves everything and made the rest of her band sit in 2nd class while she sat in 1st class with her gucci make-up bag.. just horrible
the white strips are just plain horrible and default can go to hell for only every playing 1 song..

Fuck, there are so many bands that really piss me off, but I'd say off the top of my head it's the white stripes and our lady peace. Especially our lady peace... their latest video is fuckin pathetic!!! I can't explain how annoying raine is, I just wanna beat the fuck out of him!! His wife can shut the fuck up as well...

^This is a raver message board though.. I guess it has to be expected.
Personally I like a lotof the bands that people here seem to hate. Rock is easily my fave style of music, or metal at least. Bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, Static X, Fear Factory, Motograter... I could go on and on and on.... GOOD STUFF. Tool owns you all...... Oh yeah.... and emo isn't that bad. Some of the newer screamo is pretty good like Finch, Froma Autumn to Ashes, Alexisonfire etc...

^I concur.
A lot of the bands people hate here are bands I like. I'm more into rock/punk than I ever have been right now. I have nothing against emo. I like emo. and screamo *mmmmm* finch. These are all personal opinions. Everyone is different and is entitled to like bands even if others aren't (though I still don't like Nickleback and Default).

For the record, rock is my first love. I'm actually getting rather sick of most electronic these days (almost every genre has one track that all the others sound like).
The White Stripes...God do they lick ass...I don't know WHY they are so popular... I also get my hate on for any and all pop-punk (Blink-182, Sum-41, Simple Plan, etc). OLP's only good album was Naveed. And Jewel(not a band, I know).She sold out to the teenyboppers and became an older version of Britney. *vomits* Her first 2 albums are amazing, and not this trite bs she's trying to pass off now.

these bands actually are creating music through expression of feelings and u hate on them for that?just cuz its not just matching repetative beats it sucks then eh? and if u get into the whole producing electronica is talent its just some nerd behind a computer.

^Yeah, but we're all entitled to an opinion.
I guarantee most of the bands out there don't want everybody to love them...If people talk about them (good or bad) it makes others who may not be familiar with the music go listen to find out what the big deal is. And read my post...I'm just as disallusioned with the "repetative beats" as I am with anything else these days. As for whether or not electronic music producers are musicians or not, if you take the time to look into it, most of them have a classical (instrumental) background of some sort. You can't just randomly throw sounds into something like reason, Acid, etc. and have it sound good (unless you like Noise). It does take talent.
