And besides even if someone is putting all his emotions into something, that doesn't mean it's not going to suck - we don't hate them (not all of them at least) we hate their music.

Yah when i lived in chile there were two bands that were huge, Metallica and Iron Maiden, so i had my dose of both. Maiden sounds alot more cheesy and token metal. I don't mean to say they suck, cause they know how to play, i just don't dig what they play

as far as i'm concerned he had a way of understanding the world around him and expressing himself that was beyond most, is it not possible to be a genius even though one doesn't play classical music... perhaps he was simply to poor to have access to a piano when younger, or to royalty like Mozart... and please lets keep in mind that in general a genius is someone with mental problems whose talents usually only show themselves in a limited spectrum and not right across the entirety of what is intelligence - and believe me, Bradley Nowell had mental problems - I've talked with some people that used to hang out with him and they made it quite clear that he wasn't really all there (maybe it was the drugs, who knows).

but your opinion is yours... i was only really giving you flak anyway cauz you were expecting it and didn't get it.

PS. Shakespeare is overrated - writing in iambic pentameter must have been ridiculously challenging, but just because it's hard to do does not make it worthwhile... and could you overdramatize everything a little bit more please (especially Hamlet and Richard III) - but this arguement is for another thread, another time...

yah, if you listen to too much maiden i could see that - i just give em respect cauz really they're still one of the only 80's (popular) metal bands that really played at least a form of metal - and not glam rock...
