Meh, its all a popularity contest. Everyone knows who tiesto is, even the much music teenie boppers. There are tons of DJ's that have done WAY more DJ/Production/Promotion wise then tiesto this year.

It's kind of nonsensical...

It would almost be more fair to make a list by genre.. not that the people who are at the top aren't talented and don't deserve to be there, but I think that there are a lot of major players from other genres that are MIA and that is kind of sad.

I only looked over the list quickly but there is only 1 dnb dj, andy c at 71, im sure he should be a little higher then that... and im sure there are many other more or equally talented dnb dj's that should be on that list... very unfair list...

^it's reader's poll, and mixmag is largely read by mainstream eurotrash clubbers. I think that's pretty well reflected by the results. It goes further in that direction every year.

Tiesto is good...I guess. I think he's good for chill but I've never really heard a good energy set of his. I think the number one title should go to someone who makes people show up to parties because of his songs not his popularity among the masses.
