Sykonee.. another white rocker!!.. where the hell are they coming from??...
anyways... oh well no biggie, lots of people get different genre's mixed up...You guys are gonna make people scared to post haha falkofire.. well to hear different types of DNB u could start out by checkin www.breakbeat.co.uk has alot of the nuskool jump-up style of DNB that alot of people enjoy at partys ... but also has different types of DNB on that site u can listen to in the "dubplates" and "singles" section, check out the variety... there are also tonnes of videos of big name DJ's playing live.. but the MC's can get annoying as you'll soon find out heh... also check out http://www.breakbeat.co.uk/features/skc.html ... its a mix done by SKC, my fav mix so far this week heh.. has some good stuff from corrupt souls(a duo consisting of Impulse and telemetrik), noisia, black sun empire etc etc....thats more my style of dnb Last edited by decypher; Dec 02, 03 at 06:40 PM. |

bounty killer - Dead This Time (Jungle Payback) or old jump-up like Dj hype & Dj zinc - play the game congo natty stuff... etc etc etc u dont have tracks like that today in the DNB world... There are nuskool jump-up productions out today that play along the lines of oldskool basslines wobbly basslines..but the ragga elements are gone, breaks are organized differently, the production is different...DNB today has more layers then some of the simpler productions of the past...the foundation layed by jungle has been taken and evolved into something else... Music that people would think is jungle is not as popular , and is called mutant dancehall or nuskool ragga stuff like Krinjah, but u wouldn't be hearing that at a regular party.....so dnb is just evolved jungle...so basically they are the same thing im no expert though, so someone can correct me if they want.... `ez Last edited by decypher; Dec 02, 03 at 07:33 PM. |
