I use Reason 2.5 for writing my beats and some of my synth/bass work
I rewire it into Cubase SX though because Reason's built-in FX suck balls
Viper: keep your eye out for ABSynth 2.0, z3ta, Superwave, Pro 53, Trilogy, there's about a million of them out there, I don't even know the half of them, if you see a magazine anywhere called "Computer Music" pick that shyte up dawg, it'll give u mad hints and ideas and tips
