yeah well.. maybe if promoters took a chance on acid techno dj's and not go for the same mainstream dj's they always do (for big parties anyways). Perhaps they can draw a better crowd.

It's good because it's well produced, and all about the Beats, Percussions and Bass. It doesn't need catchy riffs or cheesy vocals to make it pound on the dancefloor, and instead just makes use of cool-sounding edits to keep the track from sounding too boring on the dancefloor. Nothing pounds on the big system like a techno track, and any DJ that plays any style in the 135-145bpm range should definitely have a few techno tracks in their arsenal.

i love trance and whatnot myself aswell but its not the greatest fuckin thing.like seriosluy, i cant be one to pump out techno tunes outta my car cruising around.i still have all my love in for hip hop and its always gonna be like that.

techno is great, but either under the influence or in the mood cause i couldn't handle listening to t aht shit allll the time..and i think mainly for me, its all about the peaks.

Like I said, I'm the one commenting on your opinion. You're the one hurling the insults. It's really tough for me to believe that you don't give two shits about what I say when your retort is "your [sic] a fuckin [sic] loser!!-- [sic]"

I'm an outcasted poster on this site? Outcasted by who? You? Great. One less idiot who takes life a couple steps too seriously to worry about impressing. You sure burnt me there. Ooooooooo. The pain. It hurts.

But your evidence is lacking, however. One of the joys of Myles' new "Karma" popularity contest that I don't really partake in anyway seems to dispell this nasty rumour that nobody likes me here or something. I really don't care about it that much but it is interesting to note that I've got more than you.

So, uh. Good call. You're getting big thumbs up there.

Dr. Doom can only hope to improve
Doom woul dhave to agre with the "ACID TECHNO RULES ALL" sentiment.
Seriously, if Doom could legaly marry a 303, he would do so in a heart beat.

I like techno because of the repitition. Becomes very hypnotic. Since the basic concept of music is tension and release, techno is really able to capitilize on this and it makes be go fucking wild.

On the subject of musical melodies doing neat things to your head/body/emotions... here's some reading for y'all.

http://www.crystalinks.com/chakras.html

The part about how chakras relate to music is about half way down the page, if you don't wanna read a bunch of hippy stuff.
