(604)+(250) Dance Producers

Hey, Im starting this thread for producers to post their mixes, ask for opinions, etc. Heres a little list of some of the genres I produce, gear I use, software, mic's, mic pre's, etc. Once I finish organizing all my stuff, and get some webspace, I'll post some of my stuff, until then, here's a little production background.....I hope this helps for some of the other producers located around vancouver, and the greater vancouver area. Cheers guys!

Genres of Interest: Classic Rock, Industrial, Progressive, Trance, DnB, Hard HARD Jungle, Hip Hop, (only if its VERY West Coast or very jazzy :) ), Ambient, and Dub.

Software Preference: E-magic's "Logic Platinum 5.01"

Outboard Gear: Mitsubishi 52 Channel, 32 Buss, 2 Channel Stereo Outs. (only sometimes, when I can actually track instruments, when its free)

Microphones: Generally 9/10 the Neuman U87, or if its super quiet material, the 87A

Microphone pre amp: Focusrite Red 7 my prefered mic pre (I love that mic pre)

and then later on...
Stevie Ray Vaughn "Pride and joy"
hendrix "foxy lady"
there are a lotta good classic Rock songs to choose from.

Thats awesome, I'm thinking of bouncing off my remix of money, but my best friend (whom is a DIE HARD FLOYD and classic rock fan)says, I don't think thats a good idea, that song was written and finished back in the day. I say any song despite its genre classifications, its potentially remixable......:) I'm curious to hear you work when you get a chance to post it.
