I was really mad at the banal garble being her first post in this thread though. I'm all about not giving a fuck what kind of music anyone listens too because I like alot of music, and there's more to a person then what makes them deaf. But I know it's expression and can mean alot to someone in the same time, so saying 'this style is better then that style' can really blow my lid. It's bloody irrelavent. I feel that as long as she thinks about the message I was trying to potray for even a second it wasn't a waste of my time. markpaul :384: |

I have to agree that there should be way more DnB and breakz dj's on the list, if it wasn't a popularity contest. In my opinion, which means nuthin anyways, DnB and breakz and a much more complex kinda of music to both produce and mix....in my opinion. Hence it takes alot of skill to be a Dnb or breakz dj. and which is why there should be more on a top 100 djs list. I dun give a fuk what you say djmarkpaul, flame me all you want, but this my opinion and it ain't changin it.

I ain't gonna flame you because you didn't put anyone down, this is your opinion and you're welcome to have your own. I completely disagree about the dj skill bit 100%. I've seen a lot of shitty djs out there that play breaks and dnb. Now what I think you might be getting at is that the skill level in djing breaks or dnb at it's most talented level compared to 4 on the floor stuff is more skillful with the turntablism and all, which is arguable but I can see where you are coming from. Though seeing Bad Boy Bill and Capital j face off would be pretty cool. markpaul :384: ps Mixing is relative, absolutely relative. Everything takes getting used to but it's quite simple despite any genre to get into if you have good habits in counting loops and finding tracks that compliment each other. |
