MAURO PICOTTO is a legend and for those who miss out on him on October 30th @ Dooms Night will most likely not see him again at an overnight massive. (especially in Vancouver) Its once in a life time and I don't get why people would miss this opportunity. He rarely performs outside night clubs. I'm almost 110% certain that you will be able to see any of the others djs in town that are here for halloween in future overnight events but not MAURO PICOTTO again.

Mauro Picotto is definately one of my all time favs.

His style has changed big time since iguana days though. Has anyone listened to his last essential mix? He plays some strange stuff now.

he plays/produces funky house, and ive also noticed this about oakenfold and many other big time trance producers are going more towards soundtrack style, downtempo, funky, stuff. i guess their getting older. sadly.

I don't know about that dude. Everything I have heard from him sounds pretty much like techno to me.

And I really don't see the similarities b/w Oaky and Picotto. Oaky is making really cheesy dance music for the masses whereas Mauro continues to push a different sound that you could only classify as his own brand of techno.
