Legendary Mauro Picotto Not To Be Missed!

(well, at least to my knowledge) There's going be LOTS of people flying in to check him out. It may be your LAST chance ever to see this legendary man play at an overnight massive (at least in Vancouver). He usually only plays at night clubs. And other promoters do know its difficult to book Mauro for an overnight massive. Hope to see some of you show your support for him at DOOMS NIGHT because he's not gonna disappoint you and show you why he's legendary. // Crossing the boundaries of musical styles is normally the kiss of death for most artists. Only the talented few can survive the typecasting that global success has brought them and Mauro Picotto is the leader of the pack. The promos on his Alchemy imprint are so cutting edge that gloves need to be worn when handling them. The debut single, a 4 tracker called Alchemy EP, was released internationally in July 2003 receiving universal acclaim from the industry types and party hedonists alike becoming an anthem on the electronic dance scene. Picotto is currently working on the first official Meganite compilation, which is due to hit the shops mid July. His long anticipated third artist album is nearing completion and will define and underline Picotto as one of electronic music’s most consistent producers. He has continually reinvented both himself and his sound and continues to set the benchmark for years to come. Not content with his very strong global presence, Mauro continues his global domination by unleasing his Meganite brand on the party hedonists mecca, the white island of Ibiza. Mauro has planned his strategy positively; not satisfied with a few banners and a strobe, he has insisted on a complete makeover of Privilege. This famous venue will be reduced exclusively for Meganite to a bite size of 3000 people. 35 sq ft projection walls, new stages and sound system will set this event apart from the norm. Further plans afoot to launch a Meganite tour of the States where Picotto is already one of the biggest hitters. Meganite was launched at WMC 2003 at Space Miami and has held residencies all over the world including New York, London, Amsterdam as well as tours of South America. Meganite was created as an electronic music lifestyle, this enabling the many artists freedom to play the music they want and not what the fans of pigeon holing say they should.
